Here in the midwest, Indiana for most BBC Pump customers, we deal with large pumping equipment every day. But most doesn’t come near the accomplishments made by engineers along the gulf coast.

In the current issue of Pumps & Systems, there is a fascinating article about the construction of the world’s largest pump station, now being built in New Orleans. The buildings are being constructed around the pumps, which were built on-site.

The station is being built with pumps from BBC vendor Fairbanks Morse.
