R.S. Corcoran Pumps

Corrosion-Resistant Centrifugal Pumps

R. S. Corcoran Company offers custom fabricated pumps from wrought material in a wide range of corrosion resistant materials: from 18-8 steel to zirconium. The wrought metal is uniformly dense and essentially porosity-free. Corcoran manufactures pumps in many styles, sizes and configurations using techniques developed by manufacturers of pipe, tanks and other process equipment.

The use of wrought material in R.S. Corcoran pumps offers advantages over casting alloys. The higher density and better mechanical properties can offer significantly higher corrosion-resistance than cast metals of a similar compisition.

Range of Material for Pump ConstructionR.S. Corcoran fabricates pumps from plate material in 316(L) Stainless Steel, Carpenter 20 Cb-3 (Alloy 20) and Mo-4, Hastelloy B-2/B-3, C-22 and C-276, Duplex Stainless Steel, Monel, Nickel, Commercially Pure Titanium and other metals. This allows their pumps to operate in a wide range of application specific conditions.

Pump Styles and ConfigurationsR.S. Corcoran sorrosion resistant pumps are available in a wide array of styles, including: self-priming centrifugal, submersible, vertical and more.

Solve Problem Pump ApplicationsThe wide array of metals and alloys available for fabrication of Corcoran pumps allow them to pump almost any fluid, including but not limited to: Cleaners, caustic materials, salt solutions, chlorinated solvents, general corrosion-resistant usage. Photographic chemicals, deionized water, fatty acids, phosphoric acid, citric acid and lactic acid, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, chromic acid, plating solutions, hydrochloric acid, ferric chloride, hot caustic solutions and much more.
